I am currently debating on the same items, and after my discussion with Dave Zeckhausen, the following additional advantages of the front ST-40 vs. ST-60 would include:
- ST-40 is lighter (almost 3 pounds for calipers + rotor per corner)
- and you can rotate your pads front to rear if you also install the rear BBK
I am almost set on the ST-40 in the front as I think that the ST-60 is an overkill (given my current driving skills... for sure! One has to be humble....)
