This concept conforms to what I have mentioned previously regarding BMWs re-focus on developing high end luxury models above the 7er to provide additional sustainability for the 7er and fulfil demand for high end luxury cars which by 2016 will grow to 1 million units per year.

Whilst this remains a collaboration of sorts the BMW aspect of the partnership will be directed towards the next 7er. It is well known in Munich that BMW wants to revisit the ideas it investigated with the CS Concept in 2007. Especially how that car showcased how the BMW brand could be pushed further upmarket and bridge the brand to the high luxury Rolls-Royce cars.

Ideally BMW have envisioned a larger Coupe , four dr Coupe and Cabrio aswell as a luxury SAV which is progressing as we speak due to the importance of SAVs for BMW and the premium market in general.

It remains a concept but shows the ideas BMW are thinking of for their next , more advanced 7er model which will not only bring forth new design ideas but also advances in engineering , materials and technology.
