Might sound like a stupid question, but do you have a multimeter? I'm not sure if you can get to the speaker terms themselves to get alligator clips onto them, but that'd be a pretty easy way to find out.

Also, attached is the official press release for the HK speakers, although it's from before 1s were even available in the US so it may not be accurate. No impedances, but a bit more info that you may not have had previously
