Prices are coming down, make sure you get a good deal. Also, don't get it without a warranty. How much money do you have set aside for maintenance and repairs? Brakes and tires alone are $$$. In hindsight, i would try and find a 6spd even though they're very rare, they really hold their value. Is this your DD or weekend car? If you're going to tune and modify it, GET IT BUILT. So many ppl push the platform way too far. I don't regret buying my car I just paid a bit too much for it.
1) Get it cheap
2) have money aside for maintenance (at least 5k for tires/brakes/repairs)
3) get it built if modifying it
4)Get a 6spd
5) make sure you have a warranty (Some ppl disagree with this)
