Seriously folks, the old, half Lamborghini M1 should have no bearing on a modern M1. If you're looking for heritage, look no further than the original 328 and compare that to a new one. This is almost as tired as discussions about Mustangs and break in procedures.
Tiring for you, but not for many of us ///M fans who remember the quotes not too long ago of "no SUVs and no FI and no 'one engine fits all'". Kinda of hard to respect a company that throws all of its principles out the window all within the same 18 months period.
