thats why im going to backend flash my jb4 next week when my g5 comes in.

Im pretty confident I can run 11's with drag radials or backend flash. def hit 11s with both. basically with just tune and e85.
I'm surprised you take that stance considering you're not a newb to this platform. I consider going back to COBB just because it does the logging I need to fine tune my flash, but I'm still planning on going back to the PROcede for boost control to hit those big numbers you talk about. Trust me, I've ran them all and to be honest I was a little disappointed at the JB4 G5 ISO due to the fact it's not passive. You can't run it in any map setting without it doing something to the DME. I really want the best of both and the only way to do that is with the PROcede, OFT/BT Flash or COBB. The PROcede and JB4 can't touch the DME for fuel management and timing control. The fact that the JB4 is not passive makes it limited as to what you can ultimately do without tweaking that firmware which seems to be the case as new firmware is released every week to fix some minor issue here and there. The PROcede gives you two custom maps and the second best meth control on the market. So I can run my race flash for a stable track day car, map 1 for pump gas, map 2 for an all out e85/meth drag strip dyno day map. If you didn't see the numbers Ice put down with his XI, 460 whp and 519 wtq, which is off the hook for an XI. You'll be hard pressed to show me a JB4 log that looks anywhere close to as good as the log Ice made on that run.

So if 11s and dyno are all you care about then by all means go JB. It's a low cost solution that can make stupid power. But if you want a consistent tune, dump the JB and go flash. If you truly want to dyno day option, find a used v2.5 or v3 PROcede and use it for boost control. Ice was holding 21.8 psi and 15 deg of timing for over 1000 rpm... I personally couldn't get the JB to make those numbers, but I'm sure if I just wanted to use it in map 6 all the time I could have eventually... But it would have made it much more limiting as this is my daily driver and I need it to be stable also. So I wish you the best. Hopefully it works out for you, but if you ever want to switch, look me up and I'll help you get things setup.
