Any discussions about if a player is as great is MJ shouldnt ever start until you have a min of 2 rings. Then after 4 or 5 you can compare them on the same level. 6 or + and you really have a tough one to decide and it will never be verifiable.

I think its stilly to compare them now. lbj has zero rings after how many seasons? Sound familiar to doesnt it though.

If he can win some rings over the next 4 or 5 years, then there can be a legitimate discussion. However, he is 0 for 2 in the finals. With good and bad people around him, he’s not elevated his play or desire to win a ring when it counted.

Jordan on the other hand was the definition of determination and desire, and is what to me defines being one of the very best. He wanted more than anyone that step foot on a court with him, or anything for that matter, to win.
