yes, it's one of the best lenses, and 135mm isn't a bad zoom on a good camera that you can crop the image on without losing much or any noticeable quality.
also, if it is your only option, then perhaps it is work making due with it.
and pick up a 1.4 or a 2.0 TC
then you will have 135mm and more to use
