I actually like the Minis- they're cool.
However, the 1 series was created, IMO, to lure people away the competition so that BMW can get a bigger piece of the pie. A buyer could spend $25k on a Mini but it'd still be a Mini (although made by BMW). Then some else comes a long and spend about as much for a
BMW. Noticed how makers such as Acura are making cars that cost about the same as a Honda?
