I have an M6 vert. It is more of a cruiser absolutely. The SMG is okay too, you have to pay attention and shift about 1k rpms early or it will sometimes over rev.
I have never driven a 135 but I would imagine they are completely different cars. The M6 is probably not my highest choice for the sporty car on the weekends. It does have good steering though, remember it still is a BMW and the feedback is precisely BMW. I still would pick the M3 over it.
