I purchased my 08’ 135i MT about 6 months ago with just under 160k miles.

So far I’ve refreshed the entire suspension back to OEM with lowered springs (it was on BCs).

I’ve also replaced the flywheel and clutch a long with all the shifter bushings. D4 tranny fluid too.

The car rides and feels much smoother, but it still feels like it’s missing something.

I also own a 2010 BMW 328i MT that has a much more comfortable ride. Not just suspension wise. My goal is to make it feel the same.

One of my biggest issues is the shifter. Especially 1st to 2nd shift problem. I can’t find a definitive answer on the forums. Some say the CDV delete works, some say it doesn’t.

To solve these issues I’ve got new engine mounts on the way, Teflon shifter bushings, polyurethane shifter arm bushing, and transmission mounts.

CDV will be deleted too.

I’m hoping this makes the shifter feel like my 328i.

Are there any other bushings I should refresh or parts that would make the car feel more “new”?
