Why not go with an aftermarket BBK that will withstand heat better than the OE calipers? Also when you say Motorsport suspension, are you referring to their Motorsport catalog or their BMW Performance (retail) suspension?
For the daily driver that sees occasional weekend DE's, I can see why you might want a soft suspension but clearly that's not the case for this car. You went all out to gut the car and remove creature comforts for (as you should for a race car) but then went with brakes/suspension better suited for a "street" car.
*edit* I see that you mentioned Touring class. Is that why you stuck with factory hardware?
