- If annual, I think RMB 50-100k p.a. is way too low for professionals and businessmen who would be the target audience for the 3 series. I'm currently looking to hire someone for my function/department, for my China office, and the CV's I've seen in the past few weeks have been RMB 20 - 40 k per month - that's RMB 240-480k p.a.

In China average employee's salary is about 4k RMB. If you are in Beijing or Shanghai such a big city let's say 6k RMB. You wont believe how much they acutal earned until u be there. Yes, forget owning a luxury car like bmw if you dont have own business or something.
