Before saying anything, this is my first posts and sorry if this is in the wrong section b/c im new here
Now, I picked up a 2008 335i coupe convertible and noticed there is a flap in the left exhaust when the car is idle. My close friend got a 09 335i coupe, not convertible, and told me in order to open the valve you have to open the thing in the trunk on the left and pull out the plug. I was with him when i tried doing it but i couldnt find the right plug, and idk what to do inorder to open the valve.
Can anyone tell me a method to open the flap/valve? Also does it void the warranty & in anyway damage the car?
