Basically because of it's slowness I dislike it. Sometimes it's snappy but other times it is slow. I wish they made regional maps like they do on my mother's RR Sport. But the OEM look is hands down unbeatable.

The speed on the new iDrive (2009+) is far better than what you have. I just picked up a 2011 E92 from a 2007 E92 and the difference is huge.
