I bought an F30 about a year ago and this is my first bimmer. Lately I have been thinking of upsizing my tires. I currently have 17" OEM and I am planning to upsize it to at least a 19" or 20".

My question is, how is this going to affect my car's performance. Friends are telling me that the ride might be a little rougher if I choose to upsize. I like that the car is very smooth and I can't barely feel the bumps on the road, is that going to be compromised if I upsize the tires? Would it be worth it?

By the way, I do a lot of highway driving. Sometimes, 8-9hrs highway driving.
