Post in the tires area. Plenty of people and vendors can give good advice.
Just for reference I, running a 2012 335 sport line that came with square 18s on 225/45/18s. I'm run 19x9 up front and 19x10 in the rear with 235/40 and 265/35 tires respectively. Most tend to run smaller sidewall with wider tires but I wanted to close the wheel gap a bit while running greater than 30 widths.
Lots of options but a nice set of wheels make a pretty big visual impression. Better and wider tires and lightweight wheels make a difference in performance also.
