Same thing happened to me, so I feel for you. It probably makes sense to try proper pads before going down the BBK road. I'd strongly suggest the new Pagid RS29's. They're pricey pads, but they work brilliantly. Shoukd take care of most of the fade on the track and they're fine for the street as long as you don't mind the extra dust.
