So I just got around to booking mine in to get fitted.
Dropped it in Tuesday morning, rang back at 4pm Tuesday afternoon and told it was ready to go.
$335 total cost, labour + diff oil to fit my LSD.
Mine is the early 2007 bolted differential, so I believe it involves removing everything, unbolting, reassembling and then refitting everything back up to the car. I thought it was a very reasonable price to fit it.
I have since only driven direct from the workshop to work this morning on the freeway, so I can't yet comment on the LSD.
I did notice however that there was a slight jolt when I brake slowly and then reapply throttle (jolts from deceleration to acceleration) which I did not feel with open differential. I have to drive it some more and test to see whether it is really a problem.
