Did you supply bearings, seals or snap ring shims?
I contacted a few installers and some said yer no problem we will put it in. But one installer who I am using said I need shims. Typically they make these but BMW use snap rings and the only snap rim shim kit I can find is $US200 and the shipping is $US160 !!
Did your installer say anything about shims? The reason I was told was the backlash and fit needed to be accurately set with the shims and they would not attempt to do without it.
I am very keen to get this installed but this is proving to be a big hold up. I got the bearings from MFactory and the seals from ECS and thought I was good to go but sadly not
