Like others have said ...2k miles is really nothing. The majority of the failures I've seen online from the China 17t turbos are between 0-8k miles.
And like anything else, there are lots of other factors. Kids doing turbo swaps and not keeping things clean, not priming them with oil, not replacing old and nasty oil lines, pushing them with way too much boost, running them with the OTS MHD tunes, street racing with the car every single night, and a host of other things than in no way help the life of them.
Hopefully they last for you.......replacing turbos is a crummy job, that's what I spent more and went with RB turbos. I didn't want to risk a set of ebay turbos failing in a year or two....and having to do the job all over again.
