Dude...the wife wants what you want. "Happy wife, happy life" blah blah blah enough of that nonsense. Put your damn foot down and let her know what you're going to do. "This is the plan, I need you (the wife) to coordinate with the family. And I'll (you) take care of the food. But this year we are hosting."
