Hey all I am brand new to this. Just picked up a 2011 335i xDrive. The car came with 17" wheels. I am looking at these 7 spoke 18's that come in 8" and 8.5" wide. I am totally sold on the oem sport suspension. It drives like a dream and I have no desire to change it. My goal is to decide to either get a square set up or go staggered with these 18" wheels. Another primary objective is to fill in the wheel gap with a meatier tire. I would also benefit form a meatier tire due to the condition of most roads here in NY.
Another factor- I purchased the wheel and tire protection plan for 5 years. Its to my understanding that as long as the wheels are OEM and under 21" and have the "original" tires on- I am warrantied. So I am unsure of tire options that are covered, as well as sizes. I am assuming run flats are my only choice for warranty coverage
Any advice would be great.
