Any M4 "spanking" a base 911 will soon be a thing of the past. Face-lifted 911 will get a 3.0l Turbo Flat6. Even tuned M4 won't have a chance because the 911 will also finally (for some) be tuneable.

Porsche is really expensive, but so it Apple. Want lower price? Vote with your wallet and stop buying. But that doesn't happen, demand is there even despite high price, so people are willing to pay the price Same goes for BMW, high price, but people are willing to pay. Porsche is actually much cheaper than it used to be 20 years ago. Same goes for Ferrari. Sales units are much higher than they were. Porsche is no more exclusive.


911 is less fun than BMW because you have to push it to the limits for thrill? Funny, because when a GT86 or MX-5 is even more fun than any BMW has ever been, that argument does not count.
