What's weird is that in the USA, Mercedes-Benz calls packages with AMG wheels and other more aggressive trinkets (e.g., red seat belts) "Sport" packages.
In other countries, the more aggressive setups are called "AMG" packages and get AMG floor mats too.
MB is more protective of the AMG brand in the States. With how much we argue about the difference between M and M Sport, etc., I can see why they just eliminate the confusion by using the "Sport" package terminology.
