The option packages are getting ridiculous.

At least in the past some of the packages made sense and were related items.

To get the universal garage door opener - I need to get Hi beam assistant, active blind spot and lane departure which I have no need for?

I don't know why they cannot allow individual items instead of having to add crap you don't want. (That is rhetorical - as I know they do it because they can).

Same with the screwing around with full and extended leather. You basically have to get both the executive and premium packages to have some of the basic stuff a $70,000 car should have.

I think that's about it for me and BMW. I cannot see spending $90k plus Canadian for this car. I am not impressed with the colour choices except AW, and no matter how I try - I still cannot get over the long ungainly hoods on all the new BMW's.

I'll keep my E92 M3 and start looking at the new Vette, or a P-car (may as well get an excellent car while really getting screwed for options!).
