Autocross is fun on big enough courses. We run mile and a half courses here, which is a blast.
Best 2 things IMO for autocrossing, would be tires, then LSD. After that, FMIC, M3 Control arms and a stiffer sway bar.
But I would also suggest running a few completely stock first, so you can find the limits yourself, and decide which to do first.
