I feel like anything more than a body and two lenses is overkill and annoying to carry around (to me at least).
That's why I'm bringing my sling bag to NYC. I'll use the new Kata bag to get my gear and my laptop there, then use the sling for walking around the city with the camera and a couple lenses. I'll probably leave the 10-22 mounted and bring the 35 and 55-250 with me. Both are very light lenses.

Someone here suggested that routine of bringing along a sling bag or light shoulder bag for day-to-day use in a city. Good advice.
