Just for the record. This was not conceived or built by BMW.
I think here is perhaps final proof that people who have lots and lots of money are more than likely to be potentially stupid to even think of a monstrosity like this. Possibly the only thing that can salvage it would be an exocet missile.
It reminds me of a Simpsons episode where Homer has a long last brother in charge of a car company and asks Homer to contribute a specification for his dream car and it looks just as bad as this. Which then bankrupts Homer's brother and his auto company.
