Changing permanently to a lead acid battery may be a problem.
the F80 and F82 dont have the Intelligent battery sensor (IBS) equipment installed on the car but rather its integrated into the battery itself.
So without being able to plug the ECU IBS wires in anywhere you will get constant errors and the charging system will not know what to do. Crash safety features will also be unavailable.
