in race #2, one BMW finished 9th, while the other didn't even make it to the starting grid. one of the Ducati Xerox 1098R's on the other hand finished 2nd, despite not winning. and a 1098R from another team finished ahead of the BMW too.

Keep in mind that this is BMW's first year in WSBK. I believe they said they are hoping to be in the top 10 this next year, then be competitive (as in able to get some podiums) the year after?
