Ok I will be that guy... LOL

a stock 335i e90 weighs in at 3640lbs - 300hp - 12.33lbs per hp to move

a stock e90 328i tips in at 3360lbs - 230hp - 14.6lbs per hp to move

a modded 328i, with a weight of 2850lbs - 12.39lbs per hp < Weight loss only, stock 230hp still.

So yes it is possible through weight reduction alone to get stock 335 power. the HP is not the same, but power to weight is.

In my personal 328, i have 212whp on a dynomax dyno (reads low) - and is an Auto. factor in the 19% drivetrain loss = 252.28hp on motor. Which puts me at 13.32lbs per hp to move. (using stock weight as a guide)

I have also lighter wheels and tires, carbon fiber trunk, lighter exhaust system.. so im already not too far off a stock 335 in the grand scheme of things.

You can get a 328 to have the same or better Power/weight AS A 335 STOCK, and a 330e90 is even easier.

(im going to go hide in my N52 cave now, with a flame suit on and a pepsi)
