Ultimate speed isn't everything, especially if you live in the States. I really think car choices are much easier. Certain ones speak to you. It's easy to like what you do, and for your own personal reasons. As to the OP, I wouldn't be concerned what others think of your choice of how you feel you are perceived driving something. Get what you like and would enjoy most, and what fits you I guess...literally and figuratively.
