What I took away from it was the sound, how TV just doesn't pick it up properly. Each car has it's own unique noise and they sound so much smoother than on TV, except the force indias. The force indias sound angry, they have tons of pops and crackles as they downshift and you can feel those noises.
Below is a video I took of a practice session. A force india comes past at the end (about the 1:10 mark) and you can hear how much rougher it sounds than the others.
