My walkaround short lens is a 17-40. I use it to shoot the paddocks on my 7D. Though, a full frame camera would make life a little less difficult. Ive done good stuff with it, but its a bit limiting on the 7D.

This shot doesnt work as is, but with a 35mm equivalent camera I wouldve had the entire car in frame.
