FWIW, a good thing to remember is, "If you can't afford it new, are you sure you can afford it used?" What you read here about maintenance and labor is very true... if you don't know a non-BMW mech. who can work on it for you, expect to pay around $150/hr. just on labor alone... maybe a Bimmer should be your second car?
