I just had this done on my 2015. It wasn’t bad enough that it ever left evidence on my garage floor, but the tech noticed it while doing my alignment. Aftermarket warranty paid for the whole thing, $3805.

I’d see if the dealer will comp you an aftermarket warranty. This way, you can wait a month or two and then get the pan fixed under warranty, plus now you are covered for some period of time for any future issues. Seems a smarter play than having them just fix the known issue at the moment.
