Hmmmm -19"s vs 18"s - its not as if the bigguns fill the wheel arches further (same overall diameter wheel/tyre after all) - so what exactly is the attraction of another 0.5 inches of alloy showing all round?

I'd agree that the 19s on a 530 literally smash over bad surfaces - with M-Sport suspenders at least .... also fiddled with non-RFTs on my E91 and altho a big improvement on 18" wheels, the hassle of puncture impact was a pain ..... not to mention the Dealer adjusting his quote on trade-in as the car thus didnt qualify under the BMW Used Car guarantee checklist - FFS!
