I know this is a really old post, and maybe your aren't monitoring it anymore, but i have this same issue currently with my 2015 328i. Cold start jerking from dead start, and jerking when I begin to brake and end up having to accelerate before coming to a complete stop. It does feel as though it's a 1st to 2nd gear shift issue. Were you ever able to get yours resolved with a software update or the like?
