However, I do agree with your viewpoint that men tend to get to "walk away"...there truly isn't as much repercussions I would say for men, as opposed to women. To that end, I also wouldn't be opposed for making the laws more supportive in that case where men have to be more responsible for their actions as well...after all, it was a joint decision.

Of course one should not have sex without realizing the consequences, but people do. I have, so no moral high ground here. I also think men should have more of a say in this all in all.
Abstinence as an answer is one that can't be supported by me ever. That just seems to lead to the no sex before marriage thinking, which puts us back to stone age again.
