You can get a space-saver spare wheel as an option on a 5 series (admittedly only seen 19’s so don’t know whether 18’s are available – or indeed if it matters just to get you out of an emergency) and don’t know whether this is a viable option, instead of a mobility kit, compressor, goo, etc. I’ve raised this before on this forum but never had a ‘good’ or ‘bad’ idea response or whether is 'is' or 'isn't' possible.

My car goes in on Monday to have ‘further investigation’ into the suspension before I concede it’s a tyre problem and make a change from non-RFTs. I’ll report back on this issue next week.
