As per the SIB include in this thread, these are the N55 engines at risk.

Just need to check your Production date. Do this with the last 7 VIN digits againt REALOEM.COM ...
Then, if you are in the hit list, use your best PR skills to convince your Service Advisor, or his manager to get this SIB implemented as a preventive maintenance. I dont think any members have succeeded, unless the issue has actually occurred under base warranty. |
Interesting is there an actual sib number or anything I can bring to my SA ? He is a nice guy but he will most likely wanna see something I can bring him
