Here's an example of one that I did not too long ago.

Besides the obvious cropping, I basically bumped up the exposure a little bit and then recovered some of the portions of the image that were blown out. Then, I added some contrast, a little edge sharpness, and a gamma vignette.

I use a set of actions called "Totally Rad Actions" for most of my post work. It's a very powerful set of tools that have actions for almost everything you'd need.

Shot with a 300mm f/2.8 and even more bokeh added with Alien Skin's Bokeh plug-in for Photoshop.

Thanks for posting that, I'm going to try it out as soon as I can. I've been kind of lazy and using only Lightroom for editing, I guess I need to fire up photoshop again.

Took this one of Wifey in Salzburg. Besides the horrible lighting and haze there was the ugly umbrella and the railing. Photoshop took care of those, though.

I posted this "after" pic and others from the trip in some photo forum and there was a guy who's comment was "if only that lifeguard chair wasn't in the shot..." I was like yes, if only..... haha

pretty cool Joe... After seeing the before pics, I can definitely notice where you removed the guys by the Ford banner and the foot ledge on the lifeguard station, however.

Here's a photo from my latest vacation, where I had to deal with some dense fog. This shot was taken through the front windshield, inside the car while my gf was driving.
