Im so ashamed of how our Hockey Fans are destroying our own City atm. In case you haven't heard, there's been a huge riot Downtown Vancouver. Everything is smashed into, looted, or burned. Police cars, civilian cars, even this Hummer H2 was found flipped and burned down to bare bone metal! Gaaah, what an embarrassment and lack of sportsmanship!

Like last time lakers won, downtown LA has some small scale riots here and there. Burning a taxi cab and smashed many stores windows. When the news reporters caught some kid throwing rocks and smashed windows....the kid just didn't have any excuse and yelled "F yah!!!" or something like that....

It is sad that many true fans and even the opposition team has no control of things like these....and they have nothing to do with these thugs who creating public disturbance....

The only way to deal with these kinds of events is to have maximun police presents everywhere where it is bing held in case something like this unfolds. Being caught off guard as the Vancouver Police did says it all.

Just a shame the Stanley Cup was totally over shadowed by this outragous event!

It was sad to see, but I don't think this was the action of true Canuck fans.
It seems like the whole thing was precipitated by a bunch of hooligans.
I wouldn't be surprised if they planned this win or lose.

After all the good they did with hosting the Olympics, it's sad to see it all go down the drain.

It was basically and alcohol induced brawl that was planned. This would have happened whether the won or lost. It is just a shame the these few assholes, that grew into a mob, took away the meaning of the Stanley Cup and left us with and image that will take years to repair.

I hope the police and the courts apply the maximum penalties and fines to those involved. Also if you were there and one of the ones who got hurt somehow, too f’n bad, and who the hell cares. I am just waiting to hear how many people file a complaint accusing the police of brutality, and they will be filing them.

Another, they done me wrong, really!

I am deeply ashamed that a group of idiots decided to give our city Vancouver a black eye. Please note these are not the true hockey fans...the true hockey fans stayed afterwards and applauded the Bruins after the game. I was proud of the way that the fans cheered Tim Thomas when they announced him being the playoff MVP, and the way the fans cheered many of the Bruins with ties to Vancouver.

It's truly sad that all the goodwill that Vancouver earned from the Olympics has been thrown out the door by a few individuals who are unable to handle their alchohol.
