Cool bi-xenon retrofit 63130404195 not available in the UK

Folks,

I'm new here. Plenty of good articles in the forum.

I've got a new E90 335d M sport with additional cool options but not the Bi-Xenon lights. But after looking at these lights on the road, looking extremely cool, I would want one too.

Unfortunately the dealer cannot retrofit the headlights as there is no kit available. Even the BWM help line told me that it will not be released for the UK market.

The part number for the kit is 63130404195 (it requires the headlamp wash option to work too, which I already have).

Seems very bizarre to me. How do they expect to repair cars that already have that option in the case of an accident?

Anyway, I'm now quite disappointed. The car cost just over £40k, and after sales service is appalling.

I've been searching around and cannot seem to find the retrofit or something better. The option of replacing bulbs to xenon gas filled bulb with the same housing does not appeal to me.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Garage List
Can you drive to Germany to get this done? They should be able to do it there.

Nope, its too far. It will also be cheaper to get it delivered to the UK and then get a local BMW garage to fit it.
