is250 is definitly more optioned out of the gate. But that car is slow as fuck. I remember back in 06 when I eventually got the 325i. I test drove the is250 and getting on the highway I started body thrusting hoping to get it going a little faster

You say the A4 is out of her budget. A friend just got a brand new base A4 with a few small options for $28.5, so that is clearly in her budget. Personally I would get the 328i, although I got the 325i near base level with just heated and mem seats. When I come back around I won't be getting such a lightly optioned 3er or any car for that matter. Just had some major buyers remorse, not of the car but of wanted more options.

I swear she will have loads of fun

on a more serious note, the accord would be a perfect car for her. She's young. She's potentially going to make bank. She can afford and ride expensive cars down the line, especially with no debt if her parents are paying for her education. You can always upgrade from a honda to a bmw but it's hard to downgrade from a bmw to a honda.

Glad she settled on the Accord. It's a great car; dunno why people in here are bashing it and saying it's uncomfortable.... Maybe if you're riding bitch?

One big question which would have helped to have answered is back seat space.... Do people ever need to squeeze back there? If so, I'd immediately dismiss the 1er and the IS.
