Why are your shift lights coming on at 4,000RPM?

If I recall 4k is the default and it lends itself nicely for demo's & vids. I have mine set to 6k.

Kind of distracting, maybe not on my daily driver. My only beater volvo car had a shift light you could set up on the dash...never set it up. How does this work out on the manual transmission?

I have the same wheel on my 6spd, works out fine. When u turn on the car it's actually off until you press the two buttons to turn on the revs..

Neat wheel, it can measure 1/4 mile time, display water/oil temp, etc

The steering wheel is off by default when you start the car. You can turn it on by depressing the two buttons simultaneously and it will go back to its last state/mode. Not distracting at all.
