BMW M3 official performance accessories
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone came accross to any official performance accessories from BMW for the e92 M3s. I know there is some carbon crap out there but i was wondering if there is anything to actually enchance performance. Thanks

The only accessory that may affect performance is the M Performance exhaust on account of its weight savings. The spoiler will also add more downforce, thus negatively affecting top end performance (at the benefit of gaining rear end traction).

You can buy them from a dealer who sells BMW Motorsport parts. The catalog is on the website.
The upgraded brakes offered through BMW are made by AP Racing (see big AP Racing logo on calipers in catalog). The front brakes are 6-piston calipers with 378mm rotors. The rear are 4-piston calipers with 355mm rotors. This are the same brakes that AP offers in their BBK (see apracing.com for info). You'd be better off just buying an AP BBK from an AP vendor; it will likely be cheaper than buying from BMW.

I've seen those and agree you're better off just buying direct but I thought at one point there were rumors of a BMW Perfomance set like the ones available for the 1 and 3 series.
