Brakes: "To OEM or to Aftermarket"
That is the question. I'm shopping around for some affordable rear rotors and pads. Shall I OEM or Aftermarket?
I found an aftermarket kit for $168(rears) slotted and drilled zinc plated w/ ceramic pads: Here is the link form ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E90-330-...item43ab50ef6a Let me know your pros and cons. Or maybe there's a better quality package you know of. Post the link or maybe you are selling a pair.

There are a lot of options that you can look into. Is your car a DD, track car, autocross, etc.? Do you prefer more or less dust? Do you actually need the stopping power of some of the pad compounds?
A little more info on the type of driving you do and the price range you have to work with would help for suggestions.

Look at Hawk Ceramic, or Cool Carbon.
I bought the Hawk Ceramic a year ago. Great on the low brake dust, and the stop better than OEM. |

My bar is bone stock. I like it that way but I do like aftermarket parts especially if they perform better (longevity and durability).
