CIC iDrive - what were the first production and/or launch dates?

I am buying a 2009 M3 coupe (production Jan 2009). The pictures I saw of the car do have show the "new" iDrive, but I've read differing reports online about whether the 09s have the CIC iDrive or not (i.e., with the higher resolution screen, HD, etc).

Does anyone own a car from around that time that can confirm/shed light?

Thanks!

The CIC-based iDrive was introduced in the MY2009 M3.
